FERTILITY // A MARKER OF HEALTH AND THE FUTURE
Feb 02, 2024We often block our ability to nurture.
Sometimes we’ve been doing it since childhood. It’s hard to say or pinpoint one exact ‘physical’ cause of infertility or any illness. We are not isolated parts. But there are common threads of injury or emotional tension that lead down similar paths. Those paths have names like PCOS, estrogen dominance, endometriosis, miscarriage.
These are all naturally occurring paths; divergent from any given injury unique to you. It naturally follows that fertility is affected when women experience any number of societal, familial or personal injuries.
While the masculine and male physiology are equally important in conception and creative force. It’s with women and feminine aspect of our form that the creative force is nourished and embodied (we all start as female-remember and inside a female).
With women the cradle board (responsibility) resides. We have the internal desire that must engage for life to flourish. To grow. To be born.
There are many aspects of our physical, spiritual, and mental bodies that must align for that fire to burn and be naturally tended.
I intend to address my experience with the forces and bodies to uncover bigger themes at play.
My heart is with the future. My heart dances with the joy of children as the keepers of the future. As the creators of the next world.
We all stand in this time of change and justice. We’re those that seek to live from the soul, to relate to each other with love and compassion, are standing up.
We are standing up and being seen. Speaking for the future. For the earth and for integration of the ancient wisdom and the progressive expansion of our hearts.
If fertility is a symbol, it is a symbol of water, of growth and cycles. Fertility means being in tune with the truth of our world.
Cycles, and change, as they say, are the only constant.
We have to honor that we are not stagnant, linear beings that can be predicted and boxed.
As carriers of wombs and the feminine aspect, we must represent the rhythm of the earth. Honoring the ebb and flow, creates the fertility of life. We remove the expectations of sameness, consistency and linear expansion. Let’s feel into what’s next. Make choices based on our internal compass instead of the clock, calendar or schedule your mind or society created.
Will you stand up too? Look at the beauty that is actually present in your life? Find where you are gifted, where you help others just by being you. I know those are tough words. “Being you”
Most women I know, don’t understand themselves. Don’t know where they start and their child/partner/parents/community end. It’s time for simple changes. For reconnecting to the places that are you. Within your physical body, you hold your story.
Your [his]story is a reflection of you up to this point, not where you will end. What you needed to learn. What you chose to be a part of. There are places within our heart and mind that have led us into these bodies, into these illnesses, into this current life we are living.
Let’s start together, finding the most basic ways of coming back. We reclaim our body as ours. As the home we always are in. As the sacred space it is for growth and joy. This goes for men as well and all humans.
For women however, we have had to go against our nature to live and even survive in the current reality.
Reconnecting to the true rhythms of nature and the seasons, understanding what the messages from your heart and senses are really saying is the fastest way to change in your everyday life
